Source of the Nile one of 7 African natural wonders

The source of the Nile has been named one of 7 natural wonders of Africa, along with the Serengeti migration and the Okavango Delta in Botswana. This is expected to further increase tourism to Uganda.

The seven wonders of Africa project was initiated by in 2008 by Texas-based DR Philip Imler with an aim to identify seven natural wonders on th eAfrican continent and protect them.

The other sites listed include Mt Kilimanjaro, the Red Sea, and the Sahara Desert.
